LULL
So, Christmas is over and BOY did it go fast. For me it lasted a mere 3 days, much too short for my liking. Presents are unwrapped, crackers are cracked, champagne is popped. Oh, and all the bloody snow has melted too. It's all a bit depressing really, especially when you spend all year looking forward to it like the 5 year old inside me does... Now, the rather dull period between Christmas and New Year ensues, and my days are spent reading all my fabulous new fashion books, going for misty walks with my dogs, and watching old episodes of The Hills and The City, mais bien sur. It's all very relaxing but a bit too dreamy for my liking. Roll on New Year's Eve please.
Not that I'm spending my days in Victorian dresses in a scary looking house or anything...

GYPSY QUEEN
I think I have a romanticized view of Gypsies. In my mind, they either look as though they walked out of 'Little House on the Prairie', or they look like old-english Gypsies, you know, with the big hoop earrings, the shawls, the black hair, the jingly-jangly bracelets, singing weird songs around camp fires, etc. The reality is obviously a lot different (Cher Lloyd anyone?), but who doesn't like popping on the old rose-tinted glasses once in a while? Now, if anyone was going to be a 'Method-Model' it's Kate Moss. In this shoot, she apparently lived with travellers for 2 days, singing and dancing to old folk songs, lying in fields and gazing at the stars. Not too shabby. Here it is:

GEMMA.
Whatever has happened to Gemma Ward? Ok, I don't actually know why I said that because I know she's left the modelling world to become an actress. But still. She was an amazing model: just so pretty, with that chilled Australian beach-bum attitude to top it off. Some of my favourite editorials have been with Gemma, like the 'Girl from Oz' shoot from Vogue UK in July '06. The one where she's surfing in a paddling pool and eating watermelon with her twin brothers? I meaaaaaan, insanely cool. Well, she's gone now, and it's unlikely she'll be back I think. I did a bit of research into her new acting career and watched a trailer for 'The Strangers', in which she stars as some kind of torturing, murdering psycho, (I think she does anyway, the trailer was so scary I had to stop it half way through...), but for most of the film it looks as though she has a bag over her head! WHAT A WASTE! Don't the film company know who she is?! Ridiculous. Anyway, here are some of my favourite Gemmas:
